Abstract
Artemis Analytics, the most trusted data provider connecting leading blockchain protocols to leading US based investors such as Pantera, Dragonfly, Grayscale, VanEck, Coinfund, Franklin Templeton, and many more, offers a comprehensive suite of services designed to enhance protocol visibility within the broader crypto community. Our institutional-grade data supports key decision-making for major stakeholders, both internally and externally. Moreover, Artemis is committed to developing products that serve as free public goods, thereby increasing transparency and visibility within the Stargate community and among institutional investors, and fostering potential investment opportunities.
We propose two product deliverable options to the Stargate DAO. Deliverables 3, 4 and 5 are the same for both options.

We dive deeper into said deliverables under the Proposal section, as well as diving into the scope of coverage for chains and metrics. Ultimately, Artemis strives to provide a full stack and continuous protocol data-services offering. With Artemis’ expertise in providing data solutions, Artemis can empower the Stargate DAO and investors with valuable insights that will drive informed decision-making on usage of the protocol, efficacy of incentive programs, and hot-spots of developer growth. We also plan to publish neutral and credible research on Stargate and the growth of the protocol.
Maintenance by an impartial third-party like Artemis also offers the Stargate DAO a credibly neutral voice and will allow its community to tell its growth story in an unbiased, objective manner.
Why
Artemis is answering Stargate DAO’s call for a new data dashboard that will provide for key fundamental data insights to understand how the protocol is operating. This data translation will not only be used for Stargate DAO itself but also the broader Stargate community to facilitate informed decision making, results-focused initiatives and the assessment of the success of initiatives. Onchain data is challenging to decipher and not everyone has the experience with onchain analytics to access and analyze information. All data for the Stargate Protocol is onchain and can benefit from a credible and neutral 3rd party to draw this data and provide tools for analysis, insight capture, and insight-driven action.
Artemis is in a unique position to help the Stargate community with this key task. Being at the center of all the leading liquid token funds’ and institutional investors’ workflows, both in the US and around the world, allows Artemis to quickly gather feedback, understand what is top of mind to investors, and educate investors on the most important KPIs for the Stargate ecosystem. By working with Artemis to integrate Stargate data, the Stargate community will be able to effectively communicate Stargate’s data story (that bridges 20+ ecosystem chains) across to a wide range of investors and users (both retail and institutional).

Proposal
Artemis proposes two options for Stargate, the main difference between the two options being the delivery of the Comprehensive Data Dashboard. For option A, we will offer an enhanced project page as a part of Artemis’ Terminal Platform. For option B, we will offer the creation of a stand-alone website exclusive to Stargate metrics. Both methods of delivery will include the same set of covered chains, as described in the below “chains covered” section, and same set of metrics, as described in the below “metrics covered” section, and Stargate data integration into Artemis Platform “Flows” and “Bridges” sector pages and the Plugins product.

- Comprehensive Data Dashboard (Standalone or Artemis-native)
Option A: Enhanced Stargate Project Page on app.artemisanalytics.com: The Enhanced Project Page will also serve as the one-stop shop for all of Stargate’s relevant chain metrics but will be a tab included in Artemis’ terminal which includes Project Pages and Enhanced Project pages of many protocols. It will also store valuable qualitative information and research highlighting Stargate’s growth.

Option B: stargate.artemisanalytics.com: Exclusive one-stop shop for all Stargate permissionless bridge data. Track chains, users, transactions, developers, and token flows in one consistent interface across the entire Stargate ecosystem. It will also store valuable qualitative information and research highlighting Stargate’s growth.
- Stargate Bridging Routes “Flows” Page
Option A: Artemis currently offers a “Flows” page that analyzes and visualizes all value flows from ecosystem to ecosystem across all major networks via all major bridges on platform. We propose creating a Stargate-specific tab of value flows to and from each Stargate connected chain through Stargate bridges and broken down into each individual bridge.
Option B: In this option, Artemis will build similar dashboard functionality to the above but as a separate tab within the stargate.artemisanalytics.com exclusive Stargate dashboard.
- Integration of Stargate Data into Artemis’ “Bridges” Sector Page - Artemis currently offers a page specifically dedicated to bridges that is within our Sectors tab. With integration of Stargate data into this view, Stargate DAO members will be able to compare Stargate metrics hand-in-hand with other competitor bridging protocols such as Across, Wormhole and Synapse.

- Integration of Stargate data into Artemis’ Plugins Product - Every major liquid token fund and institutional investor uses the Artemis plugin, one of Artemis’ core products. The plugin allows investors to pull key fundamental data directly into their excel/google sheet and is a part of every institutional investor’s core workflow. The plugin has been used to power fundamental crypto indexes and supplement large asset allocators due diligence processes for crypto projects / chains. Furthermore, Artemis has gotten great success building sheets for retail users. Artemis provides a free tier that allows anyone to install the plugin and instantly pull crypto data. Here is a recent example of a crypto sector google sheet powered by Artemis that has gotten a ton of traction!

- Free Pro-Tier access to Artemis Terminal for all Stargate DAO members - Artemis’ Terminal platform is free and open. However, the free version of Artemis offers limited dashboard customization, chart creation, CSV downloads and calls. As a part of this deal, Artemis will offer any Stargate DAO member that signs up through Discourse free access to Artemis Pro which is usually priced at $300/mo.

Funding Request
Work Process and Partner Relationship
- The Artemis team plans to be in consistent contact with Stargate DAO members throughout the length of integration with weekly touchpoints on integration progress.
- Artemis will be a perpetual partner to the Stargate DAO and upkeep data maintenance through future development and protocol updates like we currently do with L1s like Ton, Solana, and projects like Raydium and Metaplex.
- Artemis intends to be the continuous 3rd-party data partner for the Stargate DAO and will always be up to date though bi-weekly, monthly, or quarterly meetings.
- Artemis is prepared to present to the DAO to renew our grant each year.
Artemis offers comprehensive solutions to the Stargate ecosystem and is priced based on the equivalent cost of hiring 2-3 full-time employees (FTEs) per year to build and maintain similar data infrastructure as well as what other ecosystems are paying for Artemis’ services. Artemis has laid out two options for year 1 of service and indicated renewal pricing, pending another grant approval:

Important Notes on Funding
Artemis indicates 1 year renewal fees because it is important for us to establish and maintain a long-term service relationship that maintains data pipelines and data dashboard updates for the long-term. The cost to support chain level data and the work needed to update smart contracts included in data pipelining to ensure up-to-date and accurate dashboards in perpetuity necessitates an ongoing recurring payment for ongoing services. However, we are willing and able to return to the Stargate DAO for another vote for renewal after displaying our superior services!
